It's Gabriel Zuchtriegel, a new Italian citizen born in Weingarten, Germany, previously in charge of the archaeological park of Paestum, who will take the place of the outgoing director Massimo Osanna , now general manager for the Mibact Museums. Gabriel Zuchtriegel is the youngest of the Pompeii directors designed at the age of forty years old, a record for the archaeological park of Pompeii also due to the numerous conquests he made in his previous assignments.
